There is a wide range of hot-rolled structural steel sections in the Chinese GB standards. Today we prepare some tables to show the "H" steels and their sectional properties.
GB Standard Steel Grade
We have prepared some specification tables for the commonly available structural steel grades with different classes in GB standards.
The classes for a certain grade refer to the ductility under a controlled temperature. Generally speaking, class A steel shows low ductility. Class B is the most commonly used class in China and it is suitable for the majority of Australia. Class C and D are recommended for areas that can experience sub-zero temperatures.
